In 2015, Power Marketing, an elite homebuilder marketing agency from the Washington DC area, acquired BuilderRadio. Combining the valuable resources, strategies, educational materials and marketing techniques of these two homebuilding leaders, BuilderRadio is fast becoming the leading source of knowledge for the homebuilding industry.

Owning a home is a crucial component of The American Dream. Since 2007, BuilderRadio has been helping homebuilders and satellite industries such as lenders, suppliers, home improvement companies and land developers grow their organizations by education.

With a library of over 300 educational podcasts, updated weekly, along with articles and detailed reports focusing strictly on the business of homebuilding, marketing and selling homes; BuilderRadio provides timely, pertinent information, not “fluff”, created to benefit all businesses in the homebuilding industry.

History of BuilderRadio

BuilderRadio was created by Jerry Rouleau. Jerry was one of the most creative thought leaders in the new home sales arena, an active member of the NAHB, Builder Systems Councils, SIPA, TFBC and several other industry associations. He has written countless articles for a variety of home industry publications as was authoring three books on new home marketing and sales. In March of 2011, Jerry lost his battle with cancer, leaving a tremendous void in the home building industry.

Today, as a member of the Power Marketing team, Brian Flook, MIRM has taken the reigns and is rebooting the powerful new home media giant.

Brian Flook, MIRM
President & CEO of Power Marketing

Brian is the CEO of Power Marketing, a full-service builder marketing, advertising and sales consulting firm that has focused specifically on the new home and real estate industry since 1992. He is also half-partner of Coldwell Banker Innovations, a multi-award winning residential and commercial brokerage agency located in Hagerstown, MD.

Heavily involved in all aspects of the homebuilding industry, Brian is also a consultant, nationally recognized speaker, team builder and featured trainer at the International Builder’s Show every year since 1996 except one. Brian has worked with some of the country’s most successful builders to hone and improve their marketing success.

Published author of Master What Matters, Brian also participates with the Building Systems Council, Institute of Residential Marketing as well as the National Sales Marketing Council and is a past Chairman of the Institute of Residential Marketing.

Jon King, MIRM
Power Marketing VP of Operations

A Power Marketing team member since May of 2000, Jon leads the force by overseeing every project in the office. He works closely with clients to ensure that they not only receive what they asked, but that each job is completed efficiently and effectively. “It’s really fun and rewarding taking an idea and turning it into something that helps our clients,” he says. “It’s also the kind of job where it’s impossible to get bored because we always have to keep on our toes and learn something new each day.”

In 1998, Jon interned with Power Marketing and went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude from Shepherd University. He became a MIRM (Master in Residential Marketing) in 2006, the most prestigious designation given by the Institute of Residential Marketing and the top-level achievement for professionals in new home marketing.
